Event : Médecins Sans Frontières Logistique opens its doors on 16 september!

For the second year in a row, Médecins Sans Frontières Logistique is opening our doors during the 2017 European Heritage Days. Come discover the largest humanitarian purchasing, storage, and transport centre in the world!

Just like last year, Médecins Sans Frontières Logistique is opening our doors to the public in order to better present our activities, professions, and the organisation we serve: Médecins Sans Frontières.

Last year, more than 400 people visited the warehouse to learn more about the backbone of the humanitarian supply chain. This year, the guided tour of Médecins Sans Frontières Logistique will present our medical supplies, kits, logistics supplies, and the workshop that readies Toyota 4x4s for the field.

"Beyond just a simple visit, all those who walk into our warehouses will gain a real understanding of the extent of our activities. A number of people admit that they know nothing about the humanitarian field and what we do at the Mérignac site. So it's also a way for us to raise awareness about our every day activities and the environments in which we work," Emilie Hay - Communications Officer.

The programme:

  • Guided visits: 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM
  • Address: 14 Avenue de l'Argonne 33700 Mérignac; parking is available in a dedicated car park
  • The site is closed between 12 and 2 PM, and closes for the day at 6 PM.
